Day 1: Welcome to Hanoi - capital city of Vietnam
Day 2: Hanoi - Halong bay, overnight on luxury Paradise cruise or similar
Day 3: Halong bay - Hanoi, night train to Lao Cai station
Day 4 - 5: Wonderful time to discover the ethnic minority groups in Sapa
Day 6: Arrive back to Hanoi and say goodbye to Hanoi for the next flight.
Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi capital city with Old Quarter (D)
We pick you up at airport and transfer to inner city, check in hotel and visit some interesting destinations such Ba Dinh square, Presidential palace, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature and Tran Quoc around West Lake. You take a Cyclo tour around the Old Quarter, have dinner in local restaurant and enjoy a water puppet show, a traditional art form unique to northern Vietnam, overnight in Imperial hotel.
Day 2: Hanoi - Halong bay on Paradise Cruise (B, L, D)
In the morning, you take a 3-hour scenic drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay and arrive in Halong Tourist Wharf. Welcome to Halong Paradise Cruise, welcome cocktail cruise briefing, safety instructions, check in the cabin, Vietnamese lunch served on board, while cruising towards Halong Bay, passing Yen Ngua Island, Luon Cave, explore the mystery of Sung Sot cave, then swim in emerald water of the bay.

Back to cruise, anchoring for overnight, have dinner in romantic atmosphere
Leisure time, enjoy the comfort in your cabin or chat with your friends at bar
Day 3: Paradise Cruise - Hanoi (B, L)
Early morning, you join Tai Chi class on the Sundeck and start your day with a light breakfast, keep on fantastic cruise on the bay, passing thousands of big and small Islands. You visit local houses, fish farms, schools and chat with friendly fisher men. You have brunch and clear bills and go back to the Tourist Wharf and transfer to Hanoi.
16.00: You come back to Hanoi, free time for shopping around Old Quarter, enjoy dinner by yourself and transfer to Hanoi train station for overnight train to Lao Cai.
Day 3: Lao Cai Station - Sapa with easy day (B)
Our guide and driver pick you up at Lao Cai station for Sapa town, enjoy breakfast in local restaurant in a pure atmosphere. You have free time to walk to Sapa market to understand more about the ethnic culture of Hmong, Dzao, Dzay with different traditional custumes and the way they purchase goods. You also visit Sapa Church or walk up to Ham Rong with hundreds of orchids and beautiful mountain. You stay overnight in Chau Long hotel or similar.
Day 4: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Sapa (B, L, D)
In the morning, you trek to Lao Chai and Ta Van village of Black Hmong and Red Dao minority groups. You will trek through the stunning beautiful terrace fields, tranquil stream which belongs to Hoang Lien National Park. On the way you will find a nice place to enjoy lunch, after that going up to the main road where you will be picked up by jeep. Ride back to Sapa and you might stop some times on the way to take photos of the fabulous valley of Sapa. You overnight in Chau long hotel, enjoy the night in the cloud town.
Day 5: Cat Cat - Lao Cai Station - Overnight train to Hanoi (B, L)
Sunrise buffet breakfast, you will follow a road going downhill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station. Take a rest here before you trek downhill to get Sin Chai village. Enjoy beautiful scenery on the way back to Sapa town for lunch.
Free time to discover by yourself in the afternoon and dinner is for your choice. Back to hotel for shower and then our car will transfer you to Lao Cai station for overnight train back to Hanoi.
Day 6: Arrive back to Hanoi
You will arrive in Hanoi Station at around 5h30. Our guide picks you up in station for early check in for showering and relaxing. Free time in the morning, spend 1 day free time, enjoy the rest of the trip and prepare for transferring to airport.
