Ninh Binh province is located 100km south of Hanoi. It has evolved into a major travel center in recent years. Ninh Binh has been favored by nature, as the Day River, the Van Sang River, the Non Nuoc and Canh Dieu Mountain. This city is famous with: Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Tam Coc - Bich Dong, Cuc Phuong National park and the new discover sightseeing which called Trang An. Specially Ninh Binh is very famous with Stone Carving arts.
Hoa Lu ancient capital is 13 km from Ninh Binh City. Visitors travel to Hoa Lu can see two temples located 500 m apart form each other on the ground of the ancient palaces. Hoa Lu used to be the capital of Vietnam in 1020 when Dinh Bo Linh took his crown after he defeated 12 regional armies and pacified the country.
Tam Coc: Mountains, rivers and old citadel make the scenery wonderful. Tam Coc boat trips on the rice fields to three mountains with caves are very interesting. On small boat from Van Lan Wharf to reach Tam Coc Caves with beautiful stalagmites.
Trang An: Similar Tam Coc – Trang An is a beautiful nature site. On sampan boat you can enjoin the scenery which make by hundred limestone mountain in many differences shapes.
Bich Dong cave is in the Ngu Nhac Son Mountain. Mean of Bich Dong is “Green Peal Cave” .There is a nice pagoda built quite long time ago is situated at a scenic area and many statues of Buddha. The bell tower is well decorated. The incense and the sound of the bell seem to transfer tourists to the holy world of Buddha.
Day 1: Hanoi – Tam Coc – Bich Dong (Meals: L/D) :
8:00 Pick up from your hotel then departure for Ninh Binh (100km from Hanoi ). Stop over on half way.10:30 Arrive in Bich Dong Caves. Take time to visit the Bich Dong Pagoda and climb up to the top of the mountain. Have lunch in the restaurant near Tam Coc boat dock.1:00 Board on sampan boat to visit Tam Coc. During 2 hours on sampan boat it will bring you go through three difference caves. Enjoin the beauty of the rice field on two bank of the river. Then back to the boat dock . Check in hotel. Free time to see the peaceful of Vietnam dailylife. Over night in Tam Coc.
Day 2 : Biking on rice field to Trang An - Hoa Lu – Ninh Van Stone Carving village - Hanoi (Meals: B/L):A.M Breakfast at hotel then check-out. Leave your luggage on bus then take the bicycle and start for biking tour. On the way you have change to take photo and see the real life of Vietnamese farmer.Hit to Trang An – leave your bike and board sampan boat again. After 1.5 hours cruising on the stream you will be back to the harbor . Have lunch in the restaurant. P.M Continue visit the Hoa Lu Ancient capital. Take 1 hour to visit two famous temples there. Then bus will transfer to Ninh Van Stone Carving village. You can see stone carving art and many special produces from hard stone. Then proceed to go back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi around 7:00 p.m. Tour end.
