Bac Ha Market is in Bac Ha District and belongs to Lao Cai Province, 80 Km from Sapa town and over 1 hour by car. Bac Ha is one of the biggest Market on Sapa and open on Sunday only. It’s not only the trading center but it’s also the place for couples, friends and relatives. At this market every thing on sales: Pig, dog, cat, horses… so it makes this market hotter on Sunday.
Can Cau Market is a small, but very colorful market, set in the mountains near the Chinese border. The Flower Hmong minority is the most common here, and their colorful dresses makes is a beautiful sight.

Our guide picks you up at your hotel to Hanoi Railway Station to catch the overnight train to Lao Cai station. You overnight on the train.
Day 1 (Friday): Lao Cai - Sa Pa - light Trek (B/ L)
You arrive at Lao Cai train station about 6:00 am; take 1 hour bus trip to Sapa. You have Sunrise Breakfast at hotel, keep your luggage in safety and spend your free time to visit Sapa town with the market, the church or just simply sit in a café by the road for watching the colorful costumes of Ethnic Group. You have lunch at local restaurant. After check in hotel, our local guide will meet you there to prepare for 2hrs trekking with 5km to visit Cat Cat Village, home of Black Hmong hill tribe, meet & talk with locals to learn more about their culture. Then you return Sapa in late afternoon on foot. You have dinner (paid by you) and you overnight at hotel.
Our guide and car pick you up at hotel to Can Cau market, which passing Bac Ha Town. The road between Bac Ha and Can Cau is hilly but very beautiful. The products at the market are interesting, and many different groups of ethic minority people represent make the market an unforgettable experience. Back to Bac Ha town for lunch. You check in hotel in Bac Ha, then go trekking about 5 km of mountain path to Ban Pho Village - Home of Flower H'Mong Ethnic Group, get in touch and witness their traditional life style, habit and customs. You have dinner and overnight in hotel in Bac Ha.
Day 3 (Sunday): Bac Ha - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B/L)
You have Sunrise breakfast at hotel and take a drive to Si Ma Cai - join in Special hill-tribe market and discover the daily life of Flower H'Mong, Red Dzao people. We go back to Bac Ha Town for your free time to visit Bac Ha Sunday Market before lunch time. In the afternoon, we drive back to Lao Cai City. There our guide helps you get train ticket and comfortable restaurant for dinner (you pay for your) and see you off at Lao Cai Station.
The train arrives in Hanoi about 5:30 am. Our guide will pick you up to the hotel. Trip ends.

Trekking Grade: Light
A typical trekking day start at about 9.00 am after breakfast. Lunch times can vary depending on the terrain. During the trek we will have short breaks for rest, snack and photographing.
Food
All meals which are indicated in the itinerary are carefully prepared and reserved. The emphasis will be on healthy and nutritious fresh local food. Please inform us if you have any special dietary requirement.
The tour guide and transfer
In Hanoi, Our guide will follows the tour and accompany you to the train to show you your cabin.
In Lao Cai, our guide will meet you at Lao Cai Railway Station in the morning of the first day and follows the tour. He also sees you off at Lao Cai Railway Station on the third day.
